Who we are
This website, latableduberbere.com, is operated by La Table du Berbère by Riad Chay, Riad Chay, Douar Tifoultoute, 45000 Ouarzazate, Morocco. E-mail: contact@latableduberbere.com. Phone: +212 6 61 70 38 86. For any question about your personal data, contact us at these addresses.
What we collect
When you request a table through the form we receive your name, e-mail address, telephone number, the date, time and number of guests, and anything you write in the notes field. When you contact us by e-mail, phone or WhatsApp we receive what you choose to send. When you browse the site, our hosting provider records technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and time of access, for security and to keep the site running.
Why we use it
To handle and confirm your reservation, to contact you about it, to answer your requests, to keep the website secure and to understand in general terms how it is used. We do not use your data for anything unrelated to these purposes and we never sell it.
Reservations
Reservation requests are stored on our server and sent to our reception by e-mail. They are kept for as long as needed to manage the booking and our business records, then deleted.
WhatsApp and telephone
When you contact us through WhatsApp or by phone, the communication goes through the relevant provider, whose own privacy practices apply. We only keep the information you give us to handle your request.
Measurement and advertising
The site may use Google Tag Manager and Google services to measure visits and the effectiveness of our advertising. These services may set cookies or similar identifiers. You can manage advertising preferences in your Google account settings and block cookies in your browser.
Cookies
The site itself sets only a technical session cookie needed for the reservation form. Measurement services, when active, may set their own cookies; where the law requires it, non-essential cookies are only used with your consent.
Sharing
Your data is shared only with the providers needed to run the site and process your reservation (hosting, e-mail, measurement) and when the law requires it. Some providers may process data outside Morocco; we take reasonable steps so that such transfers respect applicable rules, including Moroccan Law 09-08.
Security and retention
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive information by e-mail or messaging. Data is kept only as long as necessary for the purposes above and our legal obligations.
Your rights
Under Moroccan Law 09-08 you may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or object to its processing, by writing to contact@latableduberbere.com. We will answer within a reasonable time.

We may update this policy. The date at the top tells you when it was last changed.
